Mimosa festive

The Mimosa Festival is one of Montenegro’s most well-known and beloved cultural traditions, held annually in the town of Herceg Novi and the surrounding areas. In 2026, the 57th edition of the festival takes place from February 13 to February 28, under the motto “While everything sleeps, the mimosa awakens.”

 Festival Opening

 The 2026 Mimosa Festival in Herceg Novi officially begins on February 13.

The opening ceremony traditionally features performances by music ensembles, city brass bands, and majorettes, as well as concerts by well-known artists and festive parades.

🎭 When the Majorettes Perform

One of the most visually striking moments of the festival takes place during the first weekend, when majorettes and orchestras parade along the waterfront and central streets. Majorettes participate in parades and live performances during the first days of the festival, especially as part of the traditional Mimosa, Fish and Wine Festival.
